Imagine a piece like this but with any content that is special to you, literature, lyrics, quotes, maps or anything you require.

Please note: this exact piece has sold, these pieces are one of a kind and I am currently snipping a new version. The next piece will look very similar other than the content of the text. I'll add new pics very soon!

I can't get enough of symmetry and detail.

The butterfly art really works for me, from a distance it's one thing, then close up, it's another. If I can add a bit of naughtiness into the detail then I will.

Each Butterfly is made up of choice extracts of text from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. The butterfly text is painstakingly chosen, hand cut, hand sewn and attached.

The piece comes in a black wood shadow box measuring 34cm x 28.5cm which can be either freestanding or hung.

I completely welcome custom projects, I love the idea that these pieces can be very personal, whatever book or text you would like I will source. Let your mind wander, lyrics, books, quotes or even your own words.
